"They Figured Out the Real Problem - Saved Us Money"
McCandless were extremely knowledgeable and helpful when we had water problems. They took the time to give us quotes before hand and explain the process they were doing. They also took the time to figure out the specific issue instead of just telling us to drill a new well. They put in a new reserve tank for our basement and figured out our pump was not the issue so they did not charge for a pump even though that was the plan and quote before they started.

"The Only Business That Answered at 1:30 AM on Sunday"
There aren't many businessmen who will answer your call on Sunday's. At 1:30 AM we had no water. I called the only business I was aware of, and was given Alex's name and number. It was pretty early in the morning and Alex called me back. He had somebody ahead of me, but said he would call me as soon as he could. He did just that. Alex is a very nice and a very respectful young man. I would recommend him to anybody. Thank you Alex.

I'm very happy with the installation of the ozone generator filter system in my home. For years we have dealt with iron bacteria and orange stains all over our tub, sinks, washing machine, and dishwasher. I never really explored the possibility of a whole house filtration system until someone recommended McCandless Well Drilling. Alex came out to the house and provided me with an estimate that was fair and affordable.

"Genuine Experts - Another Company Said Our Well Was Dry"
Alex and another worker helped us after a different company told us our well went dry. We called McCandless and they were here 30 minutes after the other company left and addressed the situation and reassured us that the well definitely wasn't dry. They replaced the broken/busted pipe and installed a submersible pump and they even came back the next day to help us when our water pressure wasn't up to par.

5 star rating for sure! Had some water pressure issues with our well. I called them and they were here within 2 hours to look at the possible problem! They gave me an idea of what the 2 issues may be and said they would be back in the morning to complete the job as it was already late in the day. They called back and said they would be here when it was convenient for us and we agreed 9am and they were here right at 9.

I chose McCandless because my parents had a great experience with them and now I can say the same! They were very attentive, asked questions to be sure of my needs and even installed a watering post for my horses. It took some months to get electricity installed, yet Alex still checked in even then. He also suggested an electrician to finish what Nat'l Grid couldn't do. Can't say enough good things about McCandless. Responded with my request for an estimate within just a few days. Communicated clearly about scope of work and waited patiently for my queries from the county to be answered. After approving the quote they were here in less than a week to complete the work. In fact, one of the crappiest weather days of the winter. But they showed up on time and stuck right with the job until it was completed. No complaints at all!

I'm about to sell the house and needed to have the well disinfected and a new cap put on. Called Alex and had the task done quickly and when he said it would be done. Very impressed since it was such a "small job". He even painted the well pipe that's exposed above ground. McCandless put our well in 28 years ago. It's nice to see they are still providing great service.
